What's with all these "check your credit" companies/commercials?

There are WAY too many of these check your credit commercials these days.

Sofa king annoying!

They all have this false narrative that if you check your score then you'll be rich and able to buy whatever. So stupid.

They usually run them more when the shopping season becomes busy.

They're not saying you'll be rich, just that if you check, you'll have an idea of what you'll be able to do financially.
