Level 1 Science Electives for Computing and Software Systems Major?

I am having trouble deciding which level 1 science electives to take.

For someone planning to major in Computing and Software Systems, is it a good idea to take ENGR10003 and ENGR10004? Otherwise, what kind of electives do people tend to take in this major? Do they take some level 2 subjects in first year? Also, do subjects ever run out of places?

I have looked through many sample plans, but all I see is the Data Science/Bioinformatics combo. Is there an equivalent complement topic for Computing?
