Please help ID an artist (SOLVED)

I need help with an artist ID. I cannot make out the signature. I am including 2 hi-res scans of the art, They are the best I could find on the web.
The art is on a Martha and the Vandellas album on the Motown label. I have seen this artists work before and it looks a lot like the work of Ronald Searle but it is not his. I have check the websites AllMusic and DisCogs and neither list the artist. DisCogs lists the album designers/art directors (Bernard Yeszin and Bob Folster) but the artist is different.
The artist's signature is on the lower right. It runs along the leg of a girl wearing a mustard color blouse.

I would appreciate any help you guys can give me.

The answer turned out to be Shel Silverstein.
