How many actors have you given another chance?

I couldn't stand Vincent D'Onofrio in Jurassic World, but watching Law & Order: Criminal Intent he started to interest me a lot more.

I didn't like the casting choice of Chris Pine as Captain Kirk, but I really liked him in Hell Or High Water.

Kristen Stewart might be bad in the Twilight movies, but in Welcome To The Rileys she was excellent.

I hated Kathy Bates in Failure To Launch, but loved her in Misery.

Stephen Rea was poor as a villain in Feardotcom, but great as a villain in V For Vendetta.

before I read that into it I was also thinking Kristen Stewart
weird coincidence?

Did he just throw my cat out of the window?

Ben Affleck, hated the romantic movies of this guy when he was younger, gave him a second chance and today he´s one of my favorite actors and he has directed great movies. After The Town that was!.

Loneliness has followed me my whole life, everywhere. In bars, in cars, sidewalks, stores, everywhere

I like John Malkovitch and Julia Roberts a lot better than I used to. Blake Lively another one.

I wouldn't qualify him as the villain in V for Vendetta. He was actually the good part of a dirty organization and was only doing what he was told to (and notice that he often doubted his orders and people he was working for).

This is like saying that Leonardo DiCaprio was the villain in Blood Diamond. Of course there were moments when you could only despise him but in another hand there are moments when you see that he actually had good in him and was the best player in a dirty organization (and in the end turned his back on them).

And to answer your question, the best example I can think of is Christian Bale. Used to highly dislike him, but after watching a few movies with him he became one of my favorite actors.

Benedict Cumberbatch.

I found him really Annoying in Sherlock and he was okay but felt he lacked charisma to be a lead actor in The Imitation game.

But then I saw him in Dr. Strange and I now really like him, He is one of the best new MCU heroes I definitely think he should be one of the main faces of the MCU now that RDJ and Chris Evans are sadly gone.
