The most interesting thing about movies?

For me, it's the directors.

I'll borrow a quote from Judge Reinhold:

"There's so much more of a director's personality inherent in a movie than they even want you to know."

Movies to me are like books in a way. You come to them at different times and you get something from them, sometimes the exact same thing, or sometimes something totally different. And you realize that what you're actually getting have just as much to say about who you are and who you were, as they do about the movie itself.

For me its on-screen Direction. Films are meant to showcase something to the viewers, it can be a simple walking shot that have an affect on the audience.
