Maybe! But I think the sequel ("The Matrix Reloaded") answers some of this. I need to re-watch that, as well. I was wondering the same thing. But it's still a great movie. Would be nice if this happened, but I'm not holding my breath. I think what made it relatable is that for some people, Christmas time can be a very lonely time. The characters in the movie became closer to one another, even if they all came from such different backgrounds. So it was uplifting in that sense. I think it's most likely that the father committed suicide. I think his story about the dog to Daniel was a giveaway. Also, this movie is apparently worth rewatching, with so many little details. Well said. I initially thought that Woodhouse probably was a part of their coven from the start, but after reading your comment, I think you're right. He just became enamored with the older couple and their influence and realized that they could make all his dreams come true. It was pretty intense, m8 I think it was a pretty solid sequel, especially considering how difficult it is to make sequels to cult movies. T2 would in no way be watchable without the context and appreciation of the first movie. I enjoyed this movie but No Man's Land is definitely the better one. View all replies >
