Will it be woke?

And super diverse?

reply

Does a bear shit in the woods?

reply

I do too.

reply

This question is getting as tired as the idiots who defend wokism.

reply

Will it be woke? Yes. Will it be annoyingly woke? Hope not.

reply

Of course it is woke, duh...what do you expect?

Effeminate white man? Check
Interracial "couple"? Check
Flawed "feminism"? Check
Anti-Christian nonsense? Check
Forced diversity? Check

Just the usual from Hollyweird

reply

The villains are a black corrupt cop, an evil black "big sugar" businessman, and an evil gay businessman.

reply

None of which contradicts what I said.

reply

Doesn't need to. Nor would it make any difference to you anyway. You haven't a clue what the fuck you're talking about in the first place.

They make a couple of jokes about fat people if it makes you feel better though, petal.

reply

Ah he's triggered and blowing up already, lol

reply

Says a cunt who critiques a movie they haven't seen to announce their discomfort at the prospect of black, gay or non-male people appearing in front of them.

reply

Everything OK at home?

reply

Yeah. Your mom says hi and wants to know if you're coming for dinner at Christmas.

reply

I expected a better comeback.

Well, I guess you tried.

reply

“black, gay or non-male people appearing in front of them.”

Wait! What? Is this allowed nowadays?

reply

i would have thought gay and full of bad CGI........ but you were right, it had those things alright, but also the super diverse casting as we all love!

reply

The date "2023" after a movie is code for "woke".

Willy Woke-a

reply

To me, it feels like tokenism. If a movie was made in the past when minority groups couldn't get high-positioned jobs, they should respect that instead of trying to rewrite history.

reply

What feels like tokenism?

reply

Filling the blanks with a diverse cast to avoid controversy of having an all-white cast. In the past, black and white people would not be associating closely with each other like they have in Wonka. And if they're trying to be diverse, why would they cast Hugh Grant as an Oompa Loompa instead of someone with dwarfism like in the original Willy Wonka? It's like in the new Snow White movie having a Hispanic actress play her instead of a white woman. Her name is Snow WHITE.

reply

The main character's closest friend and the main villain are "blanks"?

The Oompa Loompa's are supposed to be a unique race/species. They aren't humans with dwarfism. They aren't little people. Little people were a solution to depicting them in 1971. I should have expected you wouldn't know what you are talking about. And that you would drag in different films while using double speak about the need to cast certain colours in certain roles while downplaying those roles as "blanks".

What colour of actor should play Molly Brown, Sirius Black or Rachel Green?

By the way. If Snow White's appearance was true to her name, she wouldn't be pinky-beige like in the 1938 film.

reply

But if they're supposed to be little people, they should be played by little people. And black and white people didn't associate with each other as closely as they did in the past making this film historically inaccurate.

reply

They are NOT supposed to be little people. They aren't human.

What the fuck are you taking about, "historically accurate"? What past? What history? It's a made up universe. People are all English (British) or American. The signage is in German. Police wear Italian style uniforms. The Gallerie Gourmet is clearly French.... And so on.

Like I said. You clearly don't know what you are talking about.

reply

“It's a made up universe.”

Stop ruining stuff for me.

reply

Was I right? I haven't seen it yet.

reply

Who are you asking? Chickenshits like you who have fear of wokeness squatting permanently in your heads and who won't see the film either.
