I've just begun watching season 2 and I know that S3 is still airing so there may not have been a decision about this yet. In my experience with TV series, they usually overstay their welcome if they go beyond 3 or 4 seasons... Has anyone read if this show has an endgame planned and if there was an indication how long (number of seasons) it would take to finish?
shareInitially I thought I had heard they had about 5 seasons planned but now I'm seeing some talk of "indefinitely" (which I agree would be a major mistake)..
If you're only on 2 then you might see room for as many as 5 once you get through the 3rd season.
But as many as 6-10 ...well, it would become too diluted and watered down to stretch it out that long..And some people already see it as misery porn.
They really need to move it forward and stop finding excuses to keep June in Gilead and bring it in in the next few years..
Yes, I agree--6 seasons (or more) is way too for long for almost ANY show--and especially for one that is an hour long and runs for 13 eps per season. I will finish season 2, but I'm hesitant now whether to go on with this series after that.

First season was, in my opinion, tremendous. Didn't bother with season 3.
I don't know and can't say I really care.
After watching the pilot episode, which was riddled with ridiculously poor writing, I gave up on the series altogether.
