Does Giovanni Sforza remind anyone else of...?

I am currently watching the series via Netflix for the first time. I'm really enjoying it, but I cannot see Giovanni Sforza on screen without thinking of Lord Farquat from Shrek. I don't know if it's the hair or what but I had the thought the first time I saw him, long before the annulment episode. I feel terrible thinking that, but I can't get it off my mind!!

He reminds me of david thewlis. Another actor. They look alike.

The expression on his face makes him look like Professor Snape's long lost petulant little brother.

I kept thinking that too! It is because he is short, and the hair/shoulder pads they gave him make his head look too big for his body (just like the Shrek character). IMHO

To the original poster - Hilarious! Yes - He kept reminding me of someone but I couldn't figure it out. You are absolutely correct.
