That Emma would return? I mean, she seemed hurt that her parents gave Bug away. I did feel bad for her.

She stepped on Bug's leg while he was sleeping and out of reflex he bit her.
It didn't even bleed!
For that he's declared persona non grata and sent to possible death row.
Did Emma tell her parents the whole truth?
I've doubts about that.
Did Emma fight for her friend Bug so that he could stay?
I doubt that even more.
One of many reasons why I like this movie is, that it's a plea for our best friends, the dogs.
The value of friendship and loyalty is discussed and the bad impact of toxic relationships.
And yet it's all hilarious! ☺
As already said in another thread, it's usually not mine when animals talk like humans.
But here the dog's characters are fetched fine...yes, with profanity and sex! *shiver*
That's how dogs are. ♥
Some few scenes are over the top and this movie is certainly not for young children.
Dennis Quaid in his short appearance as a birdwatcher and the bunny funeral...GOLD!!! 🤣🤣🤣
