This Sequel Is Essentially A Do Over From The 1st Movie

When I say "Do Over" I mean, a rematch with the filmmaker trying to convince us the antagonist is "Evil KONG" who'll get the upper hand on GODZILLA to make it look like KONG won to make up for the last movie with GODZILLA definitively beating KONG and this is the way to make up for it I suppose??
