shareI don't believe I suggested there was anything wrong with romantic comedies. But I think if you're describing material with the dismissive and derogatory phrase 'artsy fartsy' it is perhaps fair to suggest that it may not be for you.
I see no particularly good reason why Ms Stone -- or anyone else for that matter -- can't make a range of films, some of which may appeal to your sensibilities and some of which may not.
