During a press conference at the 2023 Venice Film Festival, director Yorgos Lanthimos commended star Emma Stone on fully committing to filming her very graphic nudity and sex scenes in the movie.

Didn't we get whole-boob in "The Favorite"? There were a couple of quick flashes, not that I wanted to see that.

The costumes in that movie were so fantastic that I wanted to see more and more of the clothes!

I saw this and yeah, so true. I wasn't expecting much and I was still surprised by how little she had up top. And yet she shows her basically non-existent boobs in like every other scene. By the end I was quite impressed.

As much that I love to seen my favorite actress these days nude, I hope Yorgos didn't do Damien Chazelle mistake in Babylon (although it's still good movie), when he thought more shocking value scenes will make the movie inevitably better.

Oh, I have a feeling it's heading in the wrong direction from the few seconds I saw in the trailer. Anyway, I haven't watched the movie yet, so I will share my opinion after I do.

these kind of movies and scenes only works if the movie has a great plot... and this one does not.

American actress trying to win awards and "prove herself" by going the European route.
