S02!

Holy crap am I happy to have another season of this fantastic show. As a Yank I’m fairly new to Clarkson and the Top Gear Expanded Universe, and as a Yankee with direct relations with small farms in New England who has developed emotional connections to calves and hens and has later consumed them. what a delight it has been to get another season of this absolutely charming show and its adventures and colorful cast, especially trying to understand Gerald. I say this as an amateur Henry Higgins who can differentiate between a Scouser, a Mancunian, and a Brummie, but Gerald has me (as well as the subtitles) absolutely stumped most of the time.

Cracking show. Can’t recommend it enough.

Gerald is Boomhauer's British cousin.

I (barely) understood that reference!

Basically, "Clarkson's Farm" is still on and "The Grand Tour" is off, because it's much cheaper to shoot TV on a farm than when traveling.

Too bad, I really liked "The Grand Tour".

I, too, enjoy The Grand Tour, with one exception that plagues my enjoyment of many audience-based reality shows: the disingenuous enthusiasm or other false audience emotions drummed up by some off-screen Hank Kingsley-esqe “audience wrangler.” It always feels over-produced to me.

As much as I love the personalities of the hosts and their interactions in all their shows, perhaps it is the absence of an audience and the more organic feel to it that catapults Clarkson’s Farm to the top of my list.
