Matthew Vaughn is interested in a ‘SUPERMAN: RED SON’ adaption with Henry Cavill back as Superman

I like the Red Son story, but I don't want Cavill back. Anyway, wouldn't Vaughn have to get the okay from Gunn? Unlikely, I would have thought. Gunn is the one who told Cavill he was out (and I doubt that meeting was as cordial as both parties claimed). Plus, Gunn's trying to rehabilitate Superman's image with the GA as a hopeful, happy guy. Red Son is the last thing he needs, Elseworlds or not. Maybe one day (preferably when Cavill is too old to do it).

It's never gonna happen.
