No heroes OR outright "villains" in this movie either.

As bad and wrongful of a deed and him by extension for it as Beningo was, although the film doesn't present him despite his deed as an outright "evil villain". The film is against his deed but doesn't force the audience to outright "hate" him.

And no heroes to exact revenge on him either.

Just humans with all their flaws, guilt and downright tragedies. Friendships that end up in trouble. People suffering sins of others and some people destroying others and to an extent themselves.

People even suffering not just from other people but in some instances from animals (bulls) too.
