Isn't the President's Foreign Policy Essentially the Bush Doctrine?


This is the "right thing to do", and once the Decider in Chief decides it's the "right thing", everyone one should "get behind it"?

It sounds great and simple in theory, but rarely turns out that way in practice. What happens if a large percentage of the public doesn't agree, or if you can't build international consensus about what to do? And what happens if the next president to occupy the office isn't so wise and honorable?
