1. When there's a fire, open windows, make a big hole in the wall, so oxygen can come in and provide more fuel.
2. Stay in the room even though everyone is already saved.
3. Gas does not need to build up to create an explosion, a broken pipe can also explode.

4. Firemen visit convicted arsonists for consulting and advice, just like the way the FBI utilizes convicted serial killers.
5. Do not park your BMW in front of a fire hydrant.

Ventilation - either vertically through the roof or horizontally through walls and windows is key to clear heat and smoke to increase chances of survival for trapped occupants and so that water lines can be advanced into the structure to more effectively fight the fire

The smoke receding back into a backdraft looks surprisingly similar to the reverse film effect used in like Dracula B movies. Sheesh.

11 - Even if you're a heavy smoker, you'll still be in fit top shape to combat fires.
12- You can go into a fire without an oxygen mask and come out still in top shape with a kid in your arms as if it was nothing extra-ordinary.
13- Firemen don't use the buddy system or a communication board to know where all their men are.
14- Fireman love to ride in elevators in a building with a fire alarm.
15- Donald Rimgale ( Robert Denero) has a nasty back problem.
16- A woman who was rescued ( green desk) in the sewing company fire, can be seen in the crowd when the fire trucks arrive.
17- You can bring your GF to a fire call on top of a fire truck.
18- It takes 6 firemen to bring a burned one in the ambulance, basically, forget the fire, rescue the fireman first..!

19- Firemen don't use radios to communicate with each other.
20- Only two firemen will go in the middle of a huge fire with a hose.
21- No paramedics will be in the ambulance, only firemen to help a fallen fireman.
