willow is one of james horner better music score. his best with Aliens.

not a big fan otherwise, too much of his score sound same.

You can her the similarity, yes. But, still a very good theme. At least Horner didn't lift the theme note for note like Bill Conti did when he took Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto and made it "his" theme for "The Right Stuff."

My favorite part of the Willow theme is the "action" part of it, as you hear at the beginning:
