A clever movie (SPOILERS)

What makes this Flick hilarious and cringeworthy at the same time is the misunderstandings between the main characters especially between Tom Hanks and Elizabeth Perkins - That particular scene in her apartment when he tries to tell her that he's actually a child, and she took it as though he's trying to avoid taking responsibility for being in a relationship, that scene was gold.

There's only a few other somewhat similar films to this - "Freaky Friday" and that other 80s movie "Vice Versa". This type of storyline has died out.

this reminds a lot of a twilight zone story, especially a guy looking in the mirror and sees someone else, can you imagine. his mother seem unreasonable hysterical, when he is about to show her his birthmark on his butt was funny, by the way, she disappears from the story for a long time, another funny bit is when he starts singing on the phone. notice how old fashioned the opening logo looks, like something from the 1950s. because of the "family guy" bit i know how to pronounce robert loggia, and by the way, speaking of family guy, hanks behaviour reminds a bit of peter griffin. some shoulder pads his girlfriend has got, i love her reaction when she sees his apartment, and nice plug there. i find this very moving at times, and the ending is so sad, i wonder if they ran in to each other again, it's not like they're in two different worlds, it's just that, spoiler, he's back at his actual age again. there is only like one real curse word in this movie, and it comes from his kid buddy, that sounded so funny.

that was some welcome home party,
in the house all alone walk in,
just a note on the table lay,
everyone i knew has since long stepped on the train,
guess ive lived stuck in yesterday,
expected old times now i celebrate by myself.
