If you're going to be cheesy, then you might as well go all the way.

Krull was silly, but I kind of liked it just the same. This is one of those guilty pleasure films that is simultaneously better and worse than you remember. It was part Conan the Barbarian and Part Dune. I know it's basically all schlock but, if you're going to be cheesy, then you might as well go all the way. As 1980s fantasies go, this film's plot was a lot better than Legend but not as good as The Highlander.

This is one of those films like the animated Fire and Ice or Zardoz that is total fantasy and not meant to be taken seriously. Just sit back, turn your brain off, and enjoy.

I agree. I remember watching this as a kid and still check it out every couple of years. Fun fantasy, kinda wanting to be Star Wars but not nearly!

I love it, it's a total guilty pleasure movie for me, watch it all the time.
