Why would Gillespie be so quick to pin the murder on Sam with so little circumstantial evidence, especially considering Sam was a fellow officer?
It was such a stretch, that at first I thought they were playing good cop, bad cop with Virgil, perhaps putting him on, for reasons unknown.
