Well with the extra space on the disc they could have added a commentary track for at least one of the films. That, or increased the bitrate. As it stands, there is at least 1.5 gb wasted. I'm still glad this was finally released though.

The German DVD (if you can play Region 2 PAL, and don't mind paying more for the individual film) is a DVD-9 dual-layer disc, also includes the trailer and has a fantastic cover as well! German title is "Die brennenden Augen von Schloss Baltimore" (The burning eyes of Castle Baltimore - yes, but known to most of us as "The Gorgon" ): http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/images/B001KKV4GI/sr=1-1/qid=123543717 1/ref=dp_image_text_0?ie=UTF8&n=284266&s=dvd&qid=123543717 1&sr=1-1

"Oh look - a lovely spider! And it's eating a butterfly!"

Out of all the Hammer thrillers (horror, psycho thrillers, sci-fi, fantasy) there are still six titles which haven't been released on DVD anywhere in the world:
"Shadow Of The Cat" (1961), "The Maniac" (1963), "The Old Dark House" (1963), "The Damned" (1963), "Hysteria" (1965), and "Creatures The World Forgot" (1971).

A few of those title were almost released on region 2 DVD, but the company that was going to release them fell upon hard financial times and the deal fell through.

Let's hope these too will be released on DVD sometime soon!
