Wonder What Kathryn Thought about this movie?

I wonder if Kathryn felt that Ann Miller walked away with this movie? Even though Kathryn is the ostensible lead, Ann really gives the movie its oomph. She steals every scene she's in. It's hard to tell how the final film will come out while you are shooting, and I wonder if Kathryn felt like she was overshadowed by Ann's performance.
