Long overdue for a DVD release

Like so many of O'Hara's Technicolor swashbucklers from RKO, this one has been sadly overlooked. At least Fox gave us THE BLACK SWAN and Universal released AGAINST ALL FLAGS to DVD.

Editions Montparnasse release a PAL version in France as Sinbad Le Marin. The French subtitles are removeable but there are no extras apart from an introduction by a Frenchman with scary eyebrows.

"Life flash before your eyes? Cup of tea, cup of tea, almost got a shag, cup of tea."

Ah, the man with scary eyebrows appears once again. Sounds like this fellow has made quite a career appearing on Maureen O'Hara DVDS! (You know, Groucho Marx's father was nicknamed "Frenchie"...wonder if there's distant cousins over there?)

Merci, mon ami!
