Gal Gadot has the WRONG physique of Wonder Woman from the comics

So months after the news of Gadot's (mis)casting as Wonder Woman, her defenders (who are largely made up of fashion industry fanatics that want androgynous looking women to be as much in the media as possible) kept claiming that either she was completely right for the role as she was or that she will be just fine after she has some "intense" physical training and she will look totally different when all is said and done.

Well, after all was said and done, Gadot participated in the "Ice Bucket Challenge" so this was a very recent image of her and this is how she looked after all that "intense" physical training:

There she is in her noodle arms, chicken legs and her almost completely flat chest glory much to the delight of fashion industry fanatics.

There is a IMDB member who claimed that she looks just like how Wonder Woman does in the New 52 in some thread he/she started. Funny, since this is Wonder Woman in the New 52:

No noodle arms, chicken legs or flat chest to be found.

And even in those cases where some artist did draw Wonder Woman as some anorexic fiend, it doesn't prove anything because there are artists who get it wrong like when Rob Liefeld did this infamous drawing of Captain America:

Just because Rob Liefeld did Captain America with that bizarre looking upper body doesn't mean that's how he should be in a live action movie.

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman is one of the worst casting decisions in Hollywood and proof of the unfortunate influence of the fashion industry over mainstream media.

I completely agree with you. They might as well hire a 13 year old boy to play Wonder Woman.

reply

Which is why the fashion fanatics get off on her selection, she has the body of their fantasy - a 13 year old boy.

reply

Don't give them ideas. Wonder Woman will be played by that trans kid Desmond is amazing in the next series

reply

Lynda Carter is trying to be PC about it but being so nice about this isn't helping move this movie. I never found Gal pretty and she can't act on top of looking wrong for the part. She reminds of Natalie Portman if she was stretched out. The body of a skinny boy skateboarding in suburbia.

You have a lot of love for him.

It's people like you that are responsible for so many teenaged girls wanting breast enlargement surgery for their 16th birthday. Along with that college boy fantasy magazine FHM. You are down right misogynistic saying a true woman cannot be wonder woman because you do not think her breasts are big enough. You are typically of the type of superficial men who judge women by their bra size. Woman come in all shapes and sizes and Gal Gadot is fine an is every inch a woman.

Yawn

reply

Yes much better to have the 12yo boy look fantasy of the gay men and lesbians who run big fashion.

Really no one outside the “industry” likes this look.

reply

Indeed, women do come in all shapes and sizes. Gal's just happens to have the body of a boy. But, if you find her appealing that's fine, but if you want to envision her body then all you need to do is watch the Disney Channel and look at the preteen girls or teenage boys.

reply

I wasn't aware Gal had much of any size. Typical ruler standard model solely responsible for thousands of teenage girls bending over the toilet vomiting what they ate for the day just so they can look like her and be accepted by the world. Who knew that image would make young girls of today salivate to immortalizing greatness.

You have a lot of love for him.
Don't use words I don't understand.

reply

She can't act. That is a bigger problem.

reply

There are not thousands and thousands of girls bending over the toilet vomiting. There are however thousands and thousands of high school girls who engage in early sexual activities because they feel the need to grow up and look womanly. That is the real problem of our society. Girls who want to have big breasts and big hips and if they don't they want to prove to themselves they are grown up and validate their femininity by having casual sex with boys and older men. If anything, let girls be skinny, let young women be skinny. Let them be tom boyish and focus on school, and not be preoccupied by breast size or how many boys they attract or how many older men they go to bed with. Now young 13, 14 year old girls look like women and older men are salivating over them. This is the true sickness of our society. Skinny girls are not the problem. Little girls who look and act and behave like women are.

You are completely off the track. What does any of that have to do with the fact that WW is supposed to look like a real woman? With breasts, muscles, etc...
They should have cast a good looking woman, not an anorexic girl.
It's that simple. And completely unrelated to your ravings here.

Hollywood is run by small-minded people who like chopping the legs off creative people T.Gilliam

real women dont have muscles and breast implants
