Depending on what you mean by size. Weight, maybe 3 times.

MUCH closer to the 6'5" character in the books.

As a bodybuilder, I'd say he definitely used steroids to get that big.

In an interview he said he USED to use steroids. Now he just uses testosterone shots (not sure if there's a difference?)

Wow, all of it sounds dangerous. If he's taking testosterone shots, he'd better be clinically low on testosterone. From what I understand, taking testosterone when your levels are already normal is dangerous.
