Why did JB flush his career down the toilet?

Seems like once he started having kids he started doing more kid friendly stuff.

While I did enjoy the Kung Fu Panda series, it doesn't compare to Jack doing R rated humor from earlier in his career. Part of the reason I started writing screenplays (and later becoming a filmmaker) is b/c of Saving Silverman. It just looked like a lot of fun.

With $40m in the bank and a young family I would imagine he is doing exactly what he wants. He bagged 20m last year, think about that for a second.

Huge paydays. Kids movies is where all the money is at. Especially if you have points on the back end. Cause they get played and played and played some more, forever.

Yeah but, not here to hate, but you'd think he would see what happened to other once-brilliant comedians (Trading Places era Eddie Murphy and The Jerk era Steve Martin come to mind) who watered down their act for family audiences. I guess if all that matters is the paycheck... whatever, I can't judge them. But hate to see good comedy go to waste.
