Great actor! why the hell didnt he make it bigger?

I mean I know looking at his credits you can see he is busy and has had a big career but a lot of his stuff is not big and rarely seen except by those who really like him. why did he not get bigger? he is a better more convincing actor then many. yes everyone cites Terminator as his greatest role and well, it is. he really did a superb job in that movie, really grounded the movie and made it real. so its sad he didn't get bigger, even though he did make some other big movies and starred in other classics, he should have been a household name.

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

Yes he should've had a bigger career but with his roles in Terminator and Aliens alone he will live on forever. In a 100 years are people going to remember Channing Tatum? at this point no, even though he already has been in more big hollywood movies then Beihn and is more famous then Beihn ever was. That said Tatum hasn't done anything yet that will be remembered forever. Tatum is a flash in a pan, in a few years girls will wake up and realize he's nothing but eye candy and move on to the next guy.

yes its a mystery because I was a kid (teenager growing up in the 80's 90's and for me he was the coolest. I mean I was so excited when k2 came out, then navy seals I was like YEAH!! michael Biehn. awesome!!!

but then after seals, he kind of feel off the radar.

I dont understand why casting directors and directors were not casting him in features! it's like after seals, charlie sheen was getting all the roles, and biehn was gone.

but also bill Paxton, he never took off, mary elizabeth mastrantonio also.
so who knows.
thats hollywood..
your hot then your not.

i think it was because his lead movies never took off, i mean if it wasnt for twister Bill Paxton would of been in the same boat. But i mean its hard to complain really, he has been an integral part of some of the greatest movies ever made.

Imagine if Biehn had been in Point Break or Speed.

If Biehn was in his prime today, he'd be the man. He was basically the Jeremy Renner of his time. Unfortunately, the 1980s were all about over-the-top stars like Stallone and Arnold, broad comedians or pure dramatic actors.

Today? No way would a white male who radiates masculine energy be allowed any success beyond occasionally playing an asshole or outright villain.

Now you've got me wondering how Sean Connery would have fared.

I always wondered the same thing. He is uber cool with exceptional skills.
