I race cars in an amateur capacity and the two rules I always abide by: -

True story. A guy I know bought a used first gen Viper. It was older but in nice shape with low miles. These were pretty much show cars rushed to production and weren't very refined handlers nor did they have stability control. Short story is he got on it one day doing about 20 mph when he hit it and it did a 180 faster than he was aware of it. Sold it the next day.
