shareI can’t disagree with you, I wouldn’t call her music rock either.
I just think based upon her body of work and amazingly long career she deserves some attention.
Frankly, they should just change the name to Music Hall Of Fame or something similar.

Ok, if it really is about rocknroll - and it really is a Hall of fame....
Then there are only two qualifiers -
Foreigner and Ozzy.
Frampton's reign was too brief. 1976-77 - that was it.
Kool and the Gang - Great career for sure, but it isn't rocknroll.
The rest aren't even worth talking about.
Foreigner had a fantastic start, with a total of about 7 years of really good work.
Ozzy, his career (Between Black Sabbath and solo) has gone on for decades.
Based on the success and longevity of the success - only Foreigner and Ozzy should be inducted.

Yes - I can understand your argument. But I don't agree. "Frampton Comes ALive" was massive. Massive in 1976. I think Frampton had only one more success - "I'm in You" - which came out in 77. After the debacle of SPLHCB, to my knowledge, he didn't do a thing. Of course I could be wrong, I was a little boy at the time.
ANyway, it seems to me you should have to accomplish more to be in a HOF.
On your side of the argument - you may be right, I wasn't there for Humble Pie. I have no idea what kind of impact they had in their time. Perhaps, if you combine the two, perhaps then he is a worthy HOF inductee.
I'll be seeing Foreigner & Styx on June 18th.. I'm looking more forward to Foreigner than Styx, mainly because Dennis Deyoung is not with the band no longer for dumb reasons and he was a big part of Styx, however, I'm sure Tommy Shaw and his material will rock the house
shareForeingner is pretty much a "tribute" band at this point. Mick Jones only shows up occasionally to play a song or two, but that's about it.
Most of the members in the current touring band have only put 1 album out, 15 years ago.

Foreigner was my first concert. Ozzy had the best set-list in concert. Saw Frampton in a three band show (not sure if he headlined). Would have been nice to see Kool & The Gang in the 70s had I been alive. Love the proggy-jazzy stuff like "Wild and Peaceful"
