Years ago, my only choice for my dog was kibble, or to share my steak with him. I see we now have premium pet food, comprising real meat and veggies and not a speck of kibble. If I still has my dog, I would feed him this. What is your experience, if any, with food like The Farmer’s Dog?

shareBack around the 80s or 90s I remember a news story about how ALPO sold a dog food that dogs loved and was nutritious for them. The food was comprised of the innards of other animals. They showed how in the wild when a pack of dogs take down a prey that they first eat the innards of the prey before other parts. Apparently ALPO stopped selling the food because people didn’t find it personally appetizing and wouldn’t buy it for their dogs.
