Another thread to discus the films of an actress known as one of the "Queens of the TV movies". Here are the ones I've seen:

1. The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan (1979) My favorite of all her TV movies. I was not expecting much when I started this one, but by the end I was in tears. A great story about time-travel, costarring Marc Singer and Linda Gray.

2. Callie & Son (1981) Michelle Pfeiffer has a supporting role in this epic story of a woman who goes from rags to riches, and then she makes a very costly mistake. I liked this one.

3. Two Kinds of Love (1983) Lindsay has a supporting role as the mother of Ricky Schroder. Ricky loves his mother very much, but soon it becomes clear that she is hiding an illness from him in this tear-jerker.

4. This Child is Mine (1985) Lindsay and her husband (Chris Sarandon) can't conceive a child, so they decide to adopt the baby of a reluctant teen (Nancy McKeon).

5. Stranger in My Bed (1987) After being hit by a car, Lindsay develops amnesia, much to the dismay of her husband. She and her husband grow more distant, so she leaves her husband and her children, to have an affair with a new man.

6. Babies (1990) Despite the title and the misleading dvd cover, this movie is really about 3 women dealing with PREGNANCY. They never actually give birth until the very end. Dinah Manoff costars in this pleasant comedy-drama.

7. A Message from Holly (1992) Extremely depressing story starring Lindsay as a single mother dying of cancer. She asks her best friend (Shelley Long) to raise her daughter after her impending death.

8. Treacherous Crossing (1992) Nobody on her cruise ship will believe Lindsay when she tells them that her husband has disappeared- they tell her she boarded the ship alone. Angie Dickinson costars.

9. Fighting For My Daughter (1995) Lindsay's teen daughter runs away when her boyfriend (Chad Lowe) makes her a prostitute. Reminded me of the superior Linda Gray/ Jamie Luner TV movie "Why My Daughter?"

.....I know that there are many, many more Lindsay Wagner TV movies, but those are the ones I've seen so far.

My favorite is CALLIE & SON I also really like PRINCESS DAISY (1983) even though Lindsay has top billing she's only in it for about the first 45 minutes. She plays an American
actress who falls in love with a Russian prince (Stacy Keach) they marry and she gives birth to twin girls, one is brain damaged and (Keach) tells her it died. When she finds out the truth she leaves him and goes back to America taking both girls with her, unfortunately she is killed in a car crash, and Keach takes the girls. The story continues. It's quite a good 3 hour movie. I recommend watching it if you can find
a copy. I only have it on VHS.

Thought all my Xmas's had come at once, was browsing through budget DVD's at my local shopping mall yesterday and came across a copy of THE TWO WORLDS OF JENNIE LOGAN. A real find for $9 watched it last night, and was reduced to tears. This one has definitely shot to the top of my Lindsay Wagner favorites. She was just so beautiful. Also found a copy of KENNEDY the mini-series (1984) with Martin Sheen. Looking forward to watching this one tonight.

IloveKoba, I'm so glad you found a copy of "The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan". I agree that it was her all-time best. Like you, I was crying by the end, and I was still thinking about the movie for days after I watched it. Rarely does a movie have such an effect on me.

I watched "Kennedy" many years ago. I remember after the assassination scene Blair Brown (as Jackie Kennedy) has a long string of snot hanging from her nose ....I've enjoyed some of Blair Brown's other TV movies too, including "And I Alone Survived", "The Child Stealer", "The Bad Seed", and "Hands of a Stranger".

The only other TV movie I've seen Blair in is A SEASON IN PURGATORY with Patrick Dempsey and Brian Dennehy (one of my favorite actors) I have this on VHS, but it's on it's last legs and due to the copyright I wasn't able to transfer it to disc, so I'm still looking for a DVD copy. I just loved this movie. (the rich thinking they can get away with anything, even murder) Re: KENNEDY saving that one for the weekend.

I hate that- how some vhs tapes have that copy protection and can't be transferred to dvd.

....I know we're getting off topic, but you'd enjoy some of the other Blair Brown ones. "And I Alone Survived", "The Bad Seed", and "Hands of a Stranger" are all great. "The Child Stealer" is pretty good, but nothing exceptional. Also, in "Hands of a Stranger" Blair is only a supporting part- Beverly D'Angelo has the female lead part.

I own a 1991 Lindsay Wagner TV movie on DVD called "Fire in the Dark". She plays the daughter of an aging Olympia Dukakis, whose health is fading. Jean Stapleton is in the movie, too, and it's pretty good. I need to watch it again.

Are "Two Kinds Of Love" (VHS can be found) and "Fighting For My Daughter" available anywhere on dvd or else?
