do people really use that word when it comes to having small get togethers or dinner parties etc.. at home? i've never heard ppl say it until i started watching home shows on hgtv and i find it extremely annoying. on house hunters they wear that sh!t out.

It's such a white term. If you come by my place I will feed you and we will chat. I will not be doing any sort of performance.
