Favorite pastry?

Lemon filled, powdered sugar covered panzki. I look forward to the time before Lent just for the sheer joy of them.

Oh man, I forgot lemon curd filled powdered sugar doughnuts. 

and big fat cinnamon rolls 

Sounds good. For me, the best Danish I ever had was at a bakery in the U District of the University of Washington in Seattle, many years ago. And the filling: (don't laugh)... Prune!

Yep, that Prune Danish was hands down the best pastry I've ever eaten. 
