fave directors born 1970+

I'm trying to figure out who the best contemporary directors are, but many of them were born in the 60s and began making films in the 90s, so I don't really view them as 'directors of the noughties'. (Fincher, Linklater, Payne, Soderbergh, Tarantino, etc.) So I'd like to know who are your favourite young-ish directors, born in 1970 or onwards. Those who debuted in the late 90s is also acceptable, and certainly non-Americans. So far I can only think of three:


Shane Meadows (b. 1972)
PT Anderson (b.1970)
Sofia Coppola (b. 1971)

Would've had Shyamalan (b. 1970) there a long time ago, but not now.
