any decent filipino action movies?

If you're like me who's indifferent towards movies where the lead seems to be an immortal who can knock down a dozen opponents with his choreographed dance moves, avoid the conventional filipino movies (i.e. the old ones).

I'd suggest On The Job (2013), Graceland (2012), Heneral Luna (2015). You might also want to try El Presidente (2012) and 10,000 Hours (2013). All of these have elements of reality which make the action scenes more believable.

Not really "action" (more drama/crime/thriller(?)) and not really Filipino but Metro Manila: very good flick.

I dont know how im gonna get to see these movies.

Ive tried adding them to my list on lovefilm.com, and none of them are available. On the Job, and Graceland, are available on reserve, but that could be forever before their available :-( . Luckily The Raid and The Raid 2 were available on there to hire.
