Feel free to Google the song lyrics and the music. CLOSE TO HOME captures the theme of independence as Adam and Eve learn that the "fruit they grow with their own hands seems to taste twice as sweet" as that which was paradise. "Paradise seems close to home."

THE HARDEST PART OF LOVE has the theme of parenting and letting go... free will. Allowing your children to make and learn from their own mistakes.

Both songs are related and echo one another with different characters from different acts. 1st act is Adam and Eve with their child Abel. The second is Noah and God (Father).

It is not the religious nature of this show that I find appealing, yet religious people would enjoy it. I am an atheist. It is the human side that tugs at my heart strings.

I would choose both "Don't Do Sadness" and "Totally Fu*ked" from Spring Awakening - because I can listen to both songs endlessly and I think they're really unique.
