Question for the Parents:Do kids still like Snoopy&Charlie Brown?

I am not trying to make a point, I am just curious. I know my mom's hairdresser said that as a holiday treat for her niece and nephew she invited them over to eat gingerbread drink cocoa and watch the Peanuts Christmas special.

The food and beverages were a hit, but 5 mins into the cartoon they were complaining that it was boring and were asking "Do we have to watch this?"

That made me wonder, is this typical of children these days? Is Peanuts just too slow paced and dated for them?
