OT: words & expressions you hate

"Selfie" - doesn't make me cringe as much as it did when it was first introduced into our lexicon a few years ago, but it's still pretty bad.

When someone has to sign a document, no matter how inconsequential it may be, they go, "OK, guess I'll just sign my life away!" I loathe such stupid expressions like that! They're like these generic, pre-recorded sayings that people just kinda say for the heck of it.

Hashtag (#)...anything. Why in the hell is this even a thing???

This new one I just learned of semi-recently, "Throwing shade." Man I fúckin' hate that one.

What else pisses you off?

God giveth and the DMV taketh away!

"Are you having fun yet?" - I hear this a lot at work. Haha, I get it because work isn't fun.

"Another day in paradise." - see above

"That's what she said." - I used to use this myself, but I've heard it so many times I can't stand it anymore.

"Really?" - Said in a very flat tone when someone thinks you did something stupid, like they think they're being clever.

"Cray-cray" - I shouldn't have to explain.

And I don't hear it in real life, but I hate posts that say "^this". A very lazy way to agree with someone.

I know there are more but I can't think right now.

I hated to hear that one as well, specially on CNN five minutes after some peacemakers had a café in tel Aviv blown to pieces not too far from where I was staying.
