Looking for the name of a mini series tv show.

Hi. I am looking for the name of a mini-series tv show from the 70s or 80s. There was a vampire in the show, and at the end he became a dentist. I also think Frankensteins monster might have been in the show. I also think it is British. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
